Accessibility
Making our events accessible and inclusive to all is really important to us, but we’re honest enough to say it is a work in progress.
The Mill, as co-curators of IWD Banbury, are able to support many physical accessibility requirements. We’re working hard to make our brand and digital presence as accessible and easy to use as possible too.
If you, or any of your guests, have any access requirements please let us know.
Events at The Mill Arts Centre
Disability access
The Mill is fully accessible for wheelchair users as well as people with any restricted mobility, hearing or visual impairment. There is a lift to all floors, wheelchair spaces in the auditorium and a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Please note, The Mill does not have a loop system.
Any customer who requires a carer to attend an event will be entitled to a free ticket for the accompanying carer. These tickets can only be issued to customers who would not be able to attend an event without the support of a carer. It is not the case that any customer with a disability is entitled to a complimentary ticket for others in the party.
Anxiety access
If there is anything we can do to make your visit easier, please do let us know. We are happy to reserve aisle seats, let you into the space early, or make any other adjustments that we can.
We're always learning...
If you have any suggestions or ideas about how we can make our events more accessible please do share them with us.
