Karen says that most important thing about her is that she is an autism parent.
The second most important fact is that she has 9 cats. Thirdly, Karen has creative flair and locally-famous high hair!
Previously working for 25 years in corporate PR and marketing communications, Karen is now the founder of Parents Talking Asperger’s (PTA) and co-director of Parents Talking Asperger’s CIC, a not-for-profit. Today, as a full-time autism professional she leads PTA’s Family Support Service, including representing families at pivotal meetings, and as part of PTA Support Services (Education and Community) deliver autism specific 1:1 mentoring/support with children and young adults.
